We are thrilled to share that TTMA is our Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Stand Up for Families Comedy Fundraiser! Their partnership helps us create a night of laughter, hope, and life‑changing impact for the families we serve at the Daniel Pitino Shelter.
Stand Up for Families is more than an evening of entertainment. It’s a celebration of resilience — a night that fuels the safe housing, stability, and dignity-centered care our families rely on. Last year’s event was a tremendous success, and this year we’re building on that momentum in a big way.

Timmy Barron
Actor-Comedian, Founder of Tisbee, Father and Husband
Timmy Barron is a true multi‑talent—an actor, musician, and comedian whose energy lights up every room he walks into. A proud Owensboro native, Timmy honed his craft at the legendary Second City in Chicago, where he performed improv on one of the most iconic comedy stages in the country.
His career has taken him far beyond Kentucky, including performing comedy shows on major cruise lines, entertaining audiences from all over the world. Whether he’s acting, playing music, or delivering sharp, quick‑witted comedy, Timmy brings a rare blend of creativity, charisma, and heart to everything he does.
He’s a man of many talents—and we’re thrilled to have him with us.

Ricky Glore
Ricky Glore’s second album World’s Greatest Dad (Participant) released by Comedy Dynamics on 12/30/22, can be heard on numerous Sirius XM stations, and you can watch his DRY BAR COMEDY SPECIAL Dad Bod on all streaming platforms. Ricky has appeared on THE BOB & TOM SHOW and was the head writer of the nationally syndicated #ExplainAMoviePlotBadly commercials that aired on the IFC network.

Andy Imlay
Andy Imlay was born several weeks early in Owensboro, Kentucky. He has Cerebral Palsy, a congenital disorder that often requires him to use a wheelchair to get around safely. Having a disability doesn’t get him down, however. Instead, it fires him up. It gives him a unique perspective in life, and that translates into comedy gold.
He has opened for Dustin Diamond “Screech from Saved by the Bell, Cletus T Judd, Jason Michael Carroll, AGT Winner Richard Goodall and Damon Darling.

Local Comedian Competition Returns!
This year, we’re hosting a live local comedian competition, where performers will compete for:
🏆 A custom trophy
💼 A paid opening spot at next year’s Stand Up for Families
And kicking off the night, we’re proud to feature last year’s “Local Favorite” award winner, Andy Imlay, opening for our Headlining Comedian, Ricky Glore!
Local comedians — this is your moment. Message us to enter the competition and get your shot at the spotlight.
Becky Barnhart
Meet Becky Barnhart, one of our local comedians taking the stage at this year’s Stand Up for Families!
Becky has woven humor into her 30-plus-year career in public speaking, communications, marketing, and leadership—but her stand-up journey began just this year! Now she’s bringing her wit to the stage to support the Daniel Pitino Shelter.
Come out, cheer Becky on, and enjoy an evening of laughter while helping families experiencing homelessness.

Sarah Hines
Sarah is coming up from Murray, Kentucky, to bring the laughs and compete for our Local Comic Award!
Kentucky born and bred, Sarah is a comic and creator whose absurdist storytelling delivers the truths we’ve all buried deep inside. She’s performed on stages across the Southeast, including Don’t Tell Comedy, Third Coast Comedy Club, and the Kentucky Comedy Festival, where she opened for Dustin Nickerson.
Her invitation? “Come join her on a trip out of this universe.”
Come cheer Sarah on, enjoy a night of laughter, and help support the families served by Daniel Pitino Shelter!

Olivia Owen
Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Olivia played soccer at Brescia University and has spent the past 21 years teaching science at Foust Elementary. Now she’s stepping out of the classroom and up to the microphone! 🔬😂
Olivia is new to stand-up, making her debut at an open mic at Brasher’s this past February. Since then, she’s returned for two more appearances and taken the stage at the Louisville Comedy Club!
When she’s not teaching or trying out new jokes, Olivia enjoys cooking and watching sports. This October, she’ll join our local lineup to compete for the local comic award and help support families served by the Daniel Pitino Shelter. ❤️
Come cheer Olivia on! It takes courage to try something new, and every comedian deserves a crowd ready to laugh!
